Two Main Licenses: Learner’s and Permanent
Learner’s License (LL): Your Practice Permit

How to Check Your Driving License Application Status

- Open your browser and go to official Sarathi Parivahan website: sarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
- Go to the “Application Status” Section

Renewing Your License

1: Timing Matters
- You can renew your license up to one month before it expires.
- If your license has been expired for over five years, you must apply for a new license.
- If you apply within 30 days of the expiry date, the renewal will be counted from the original expiry date.
- If you apply after 30 days, an additional ₹30 late fee applies, and the renewal will be effective from the new application date.
